Mad Men: Mad Men may be set in the 1960's, but this witty and smart retro-drama is incredibly chic in its own manner. The heavily stylized show follows a gang of Manhattan based ad-execs trying to make it in the ego-driven world of advertising. Dancing with the Stars: Reality TV isn't known for featuring stylish duds, but this show does offer a healthy dose of dance outfits reminiscent of Travolta's turn in Saturday Night Fever. It's worth the watch to get inspired for summer. The show is also entertaining in its own right, as you get to watch third-rate celebrities sashay across the screen, trying to perfect their long practiced dance moves.

My Super Sweet 16: Another reality show, this time airing on MTV (check your satellite TV schedule for exact air times), this show provides a great snapshot of the world of teenage fashion. Despite the lead subjects being spoiled in every way, they do sport some trendy outfits; for the more discerning, older viewer, the show will bring back memories of a time when clothes were clothes.

Project Runway: Project Runway is for the fashion designer wannabes. It goes to clever lengths to make the clothing making business look incredibly cool, savage and tough all at once. What you end up with is a savvy drama, a reality show that stands above the rest because it's about fashion and it doesn't pretend to anything else.
