As he fell off the cliff, Daniel Vegter clearly remembers thinking: This can’t be happening. But it was. Vegter, 23, was falling 50 feet from a cliff in southwest Morrill County on Dec. 21. Once he realized it wasn’t a nightmare but a horrible reality, Vegter decided to make sure he survived it.
