Can anyone give me a brief on the 1st 3 Star trek countdown comics UK Titan please?

Jon, it's a prequel to the new movie, it's been great so far with Nero's charactor being shown before the Romulan Empire was destroyed by a decaying star.

Picard is in this one, as is Spock, Worf and Data. Commander Laforge is also there and he modifies Spock's ship. Spock tries to save Romolus but fails, and sparks a huge war between the Federation and the remaining powerful Romulans. Admiral Worf leads a fleet of ships against Nero, and the battle ensues.

This is all about revenge of Nero against Spock, and Nero intends to destroy Earth and Vulcan.
