Who would win in a fight between the mutant Ice Man and The Human Torch?
It seems like an even match, and one that Iceman might even pull off. Just douse the flame, right? The real issue is the comparative power levels. Johnny and Bobby are opposite forces of a sort, but Johnny's flame powers are quite a bit more powerful than Bobby's ice powers.
How cold can Iceman really get things? It's gonna have to be pretty cold, since the Human Torch can keep lit at temperatures waaaaaay down close to absolute zero. He's flown around in space, no-space, negative-space, what-have-you, He can also keep his flame going if he gets doused with water. He can melt steel without breaking a sweat, so to speak.
Refer to the Age of Apocalypse for an Iceman who had no limits to what he could accomplish. He was indeed very, very powerful, but all this about him being able to take down anyone in the MU is a little overstated.
