I want to read the Fathom comic series. What editions do I buy w/out having multiple copies?
I've been wanting to read this series forever, but I'm having a lot of problems determining which collections/editions to buy without have double copies of certain issues. I know this is sometimes unavoidable, but I'm short on cash and need to streamline my spending.

People love helping people and that's what this show is all about. "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" has been airing on the ABC Television Network since 2003. It originally began as a special show that was only to be aired a handful of times. It became a regular television series in 2004. It is a spin-off of the other hit ABC show, "Extreme Makeover." The show is hosted by Ty Pennington, who is joined by an experienced staff of home decorators, contractors and construction workers. The producers of the show also produce such reality shows as "Big Brother," "Deal or No Deal" and "Fear Factor."
The premise of the show is simple. The chosen family, which is usually nominated by a friend, relative or coworker, goes on a vacation paid for by one of the shows sponsors and while they are away Pennington's crew knocks down the house and completely rebuilds and remodels it. Nothing from the old house remains for the new house. Everything is donated by local businesses or sponsors of the show.
The show's host, Ty Pennington, was formerly on the show "Trading Spaces." "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" is sponsored by Sears, Craftsman and Kenmore. The show remodels the homes of people who are looking for new hope in their lives because of illness, tragedy or falling on hard times. In the 2005-2006 season the crew took the show on the road, which they do each week, to areas hit by Hurricane Katrina. The crew rebuilt houses of the storm's victims.
The design for the new homes is taken from the interests of each family member. Most kids' rooms are decorated for girls who love dolls and princesses while the boys' rooms involve sports, racing, "Star Wars" and comic books. The adults' rooms are redesigned to feature an exotic master bedroom with a tub that doubles as a hot tub. The new house also has a basement with video games, maybe a bowling alley and other fun trinkets. The outdoors has extravagant landscaping, a pool in the backyard and a basketball court in some instances.
To demolish the old house the crew has used a lot of different ideas to get the job done. For the first time, during the 2007 season, the crew actually used dynamite to demolish one of the house they were going to remodel. The crew has also used tanks, monster trucks, wrecking balls and falling trees to get the job done. One episode even featured the Muppets, which are owned by Disney, for some comic relief. Because the families involved have usually fallen on difficult times, the episodes can be very upsetting for the crew members, the families involved, the volunteers and the audience at home so the producers decided to bring in the Muppets to lighten the mood.
"Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" won an Emmy Award for Outstanding Reality Program in 2005 and 2006. The show's contract has been extended for the 2008-2009 season. It reruns began airing on TV Land on August 7, 2007.
