In the first part of this article, we established that most of us are looking for some sort of Freedom, but that Freedom was different for everyone. And we need to determine what it is we really want from it. From there, what are we willing to do for that Freedom?
Now that we have established the above, we need information. It is not enough to say:" I have a dream and I am determined to live it." we must take action and learn to achieve our own Freedom. We have all heard the expression :"Knowledge is power". It is very true when determining what we need to get free. I have learned a great deal with books and games from the "Richdad.com" programs. And today I have the Freedom of not having to go to a job everyday as it was the case even a month ago. We cannot underestimate the knowledge we will find in a great book.
But what books should we read? It is different for everyone, as long as these books are the kinds that improve us as a person, improves our financial I.Q., improves are relationships, etc. We cannot achieve Freedom without changing our mindset and that will only happen if we learn more.
We must find our niche. In other words, find what we are best at and like, then improve on it and learn how to use that knowledge to create passive income. For example, a mechanic can decide to put his knowledge of repairing vehicles into a book and sell it to other mechanics coming into the field. Once that book is written, every sale from that book is passive income. The mechanic did the work once and gets paid every time a book sells. Passive income can be found in 3 main cash flow assets. We find them in businesses, like the mechanic and his book. And same mechanic could open a garage and just supervise it until he get the leverage to have a manager run it for him. We also find passive income in real estate. A great book to get started would be "Rich dad, poor dad" from Robert Kiyosaki. Also paper assets, which are stock options, mutual founds, etc.
Once your passive income is greater than our present salary, we have created Freedom. We can have the same income coming in our household without having to do the hard work for it. But it all start with the right books, the right advice from mentors that are willing to help you out, the right system already in place that you can maximize on.
Don't just read and acquire knowledge about your dream or Freedom. You must also put everything into action. A friend of mine says:" If you just keep learning and don't put anything in practice, your mind just grows and you can just blow up". I am not sure about blowing up, but as Dale Carnegie says: "Inaction breads doubt and fear. Action breads confidence and courage. If you want to conquer fear, do not sit at home and think about it. Go out and get busy." But we will go through fears on another article.
Many thanks for reading our Comic Book Run article
