Is it ok to use a book bag to collect books in a bookstore while browsing?
I just got a wonderful book bag and am wondering if it's proper etiquette to take it in somewhere like Barnes and Noble(didn't get it from there) and put the books I'm wanting to buy in it as I go along browsing in the store. I'm afraid that the employees will look at it as stealing until I go up to the register!
If it is a small bag that is only used for carrying items in a store (and doesn't have anything else in it) and the store doesn't provide baskets and you are buying a significant number of books, then you might be ok. If it's a backpack, then that's completely out of the question.
It's better to be safe than sorry in this case. You won't be prosecuted for stealing unless you try to leave the store without paying, but you don't want to have to go through the humiliation of having store employees follow you around or ask you to take the books out of your bag. Maybe you could ask an employee at the store when you get there? If not, and you're trying to buy a lot of books, maybe you could take them to the front of the store and ask them to hold on to them for you while you keep browsing.
The Kindle book reader is the hottest concept but seeking kindle best deals might take you quite a while to find a bargain. Kindle readers are definitely worth buying for the reading enthusiast and for elderly readers. The device is snug, small, discreet and convenient for any purse or bag; offers text adjustments, non-glare screen and hundreds of newspaper, magazine and book choices to download. Perfect gift! Kindle readers can definitely make life easier, more convenient and quick but you're going to shell out $250 to $500 for this gadget. When seeking any Kindle best deals you'll probably find them on Ebay or Craigslist, but the problem is all the inconvenient scams and sifting through that mess. Who really needs to deal with those headaches during the holiday season? Ebay of course would be your first quest in seeking Kindle best deals.
Unfortunately, when reviewing the prices on Ebay they really mirror the deals on Amazon. Sure, there are a few auctions here and there that are as low as $160 but when you consider what they're charging for shipping, tack on another $25 to $35 dollars. I recommend you choosing a "Buy-it-Now" Ebay seller and offering what you want to pay for a Kindle. A little compromise and price haggling may get you a Kindle with an amazing deal. With a starting price of $248, you can be sure to get what you pay for by visiting the Amazon site. Not to say Ebay auctioneers will be scammed but since the pricing really mirrors that of Amazon, why chance it during the holiday season? And, Amazon will probably offer more discounts the closer we get to the holiday. The next site you can seek any Kindle readers and the best deals available is Craigslist; depending upon which state you are perusing you can find a good deal for approximately $175. Again, you'll be worried with the thought of "what-if" when it comes to delivery so if using Craigslist take measures not to lose your money. The Kindle readers are only available on certain websites and because of this, it doesn't really offer consumers enough competitive pricing. So for those searching for Kindle best deals, be prepared to spend close to the original price.
