Battlestar Galactica
Battlestar Galactica
Can you answer this question about the Battlestar Galactica season 2.5 episode "Sacrifice"?
At the beginning, during the "previously on Battlestar Galactica" segment, they show the Cylon Sharon talking with Adama. She quotes some things he had said at the ceremony (which I take to mean during the mini-series). My question is this: during what episode did this conversation between Sharon and Adama take place? I must have missed it somehow.
I'm 99.9% sure that this conversation happens in the season 2 episode, "Resurrection Ship Part II". That's a great part of the episode. =D

Previous reports discussed some problems that the Sci-Fi Channel is currently facing in line with Battlestar Galactica. They are currently deciding whether the show should be divided into two ten-episode chunks for its final season. One executive commented that the decision is taking a lot of time due to "the money people."
Apparently, a huge chunk of the network's programming budget is allotted for Battlestar Galactica, thus they are forced to consider the split up of its final edition into two seasons. Executive producer Ron Moore has a few things to say about this.
"It doesn't affect my job either way, since we're shooting it straight through," Moore explained. "It might be better to get it all done [in the same year] for the fans so they don't have to wait."
A source close to the project agrees with Moore's idea of airing Battlestar Galactica's last season in the same year. The source is quoted, saying that "when people see the ending of the 10th episode, they're gonna freak out." If the network decides for the split, then fans would again be left on a cliffhanger, only to wait for another year for the conclusion of the show. Viewers are already eager to see the two-hour made-for-TV stand-alone film, Razor.
The network aims to reach a decision by January, along with which shows will be good accompaniments to Battlestar Galactica, and how much these shows will costs. These factors are critical to the show and the network's success as well.
One of those in consideration is the Caprica spin-off series, which executives believe may help retain and expand the loyal Battlestar Galactica fan base. They are also considering a two-hour pilot such as Razor. If and when the pilot does not do well, it may be subsequently sold as a DVD to make up for the loss. If it soars, however, the network will have a new series on air.
Moore is currently working on another sci-fi production, which will be a "companion piece" to John Carpenter's 1982 film The Thing, produced by Universal.
